ABOUT THE STUDIO
Background
Built in 2025, Midway Recording Studios is a house converted for music creation with design and creativity in mind. In the heart of St. Paul, Minnesota, the goal of the studio is to elevate the music of artists of all levels, from those who are recording-curious to serious artists with significant projects. Midway’s design allows for artists to record in different configurations, and can even support live tracking full bands. The studio aims to be a comfortable environment for full days or short stays of recording for bands and solo artists alike.
What is there to use at Midway?
Baby Grand Piano Tones
A baby grand piano serves the studio for live keys that sound full and lush. Creative microphone setups are used to serve any song it is a part of.
Drum Tracking
A Yamaha Stage Custom kit is mic’d up all of the time to stay ready for tracking. We will work to get the right sound with as much of the pre-work done before our session.
Versatile Guitar and Bass
Tracking Setups
The studio is built to provide options. This means multiple amps, mics, and signal paths for the exact feel you’re chasing.
A Large Collection
of Virtual Instruments
and Plugins
The speed and creativity of production is supported by a large suite of synths, drum samples, plugins and more.
